Counselling

Life can be challenging for us sometimes. When you find yourself seeking support after the devastating loss of a baby or babies it can be hard to know where to turn. We are here to support you.

Oscar's Wish Foundation offers six sessions of funded pregnancy loss counselling to our parents and birthing people. You will have been referred to us via a Bereavement Midwife and will have been a patient in Sussex.

Oscar's Wish Foundation makes informed referrals to Counselling Service Providers who are registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

You may find that working with a professional who is experienced and trained to facilitate can help you and support the quality of your life now and in the future. Our counsellors work with you & and work with individuals, and couples in a safe, confidential environment. The counselling service providers are based in Hove and Uckfield.

Tina John Together Counselling Oscar's Wish Foundation

Tina Johnson - Together Counselling

"I work from a person-centred approach, offering a safe space that is non-judgemental, and where the client can explore their unique story with time to reflect and can offer a creative process. I gained a master’s degree in Psychotherapy in 2016 and have specialised in working with bereaved parents for several years and delighted as part of Together Counselling to be working with Oscar’s Wish. I can offer counselling for couples or individuals.  Sessions are offered in my Hove practice, and I can also see clients via zoom. I am a registered member of the ADMP and work within their code of ethics."
